Lotsa cards ... I couldn't leave you hanging.

Here are three different cards that I created for various occasions. The first one was for one of Beate's sketch challenge (which I was too late posting to participate in):

This one is for my sisters birthday which is coming up on June 9th. She is a pretty funky chick so I wanted to create a funky card:

This next one took a couple of days to create as I kept changing what I wanted to put together. As it turned out I think that it is one of my faves! I gave this one to my Mom as she is my #1 Fave!

Father's Day ... Early!

Thanks to Allison I have been a stamping fool lately! I have created birthday and thank you cards early and participated in two sketch challenges ... can you say 'enabler' ... haha. I am really having fun and I know that all of the recipients are really enjoying the cards as well.

Here is my creation for Father's Day ... Allison and I each worked on one and they were fun to create and turned out really well.

And here is what it looks like folded out. I have to add some photos, but I know that my Dad will really appreciate it ... he thinks I am an artiste!

Allison's Sketch

Well, I figured that I better get my butt in gear and get on this sketch considering it was made for me!

This was made with my new stamp set from Stampin' Up - In the Wild. I absolutely love this set as it features my favourite of all things ... animals. Lots of posts to come ... I have actually been stamping, just not blogging.

Dundee a little cuter ... plus Koda.

I was just looking back at the picture of Dundee and I realized that was a face only a mother could love. He really is quite cute so I took these pictures of him wrapped up in a blanket looking very tame ... ha,ha ... how they fool you!

At the same time, I also realized that my other dog Koda has not had much face time on the blog yet. Could this be because he is sweet, quiet and stays out of trouble??? Great reward for the 'good' dog, pretend he doesn't exist. Well, here is a picture of my sweetest little black doggie, KK. Well he is really not so little, he is about 50 lbs. but he is little compared to Dundee. This is him being introspective at his Auntie Joyce's in California:

Friends ...

Here is the very first card that I have created with my very own Papertrey Ink stamps! It is quite fitting that I made this with Allison as she is my BFF who introduced me to all of this stamping craziness.

And here is the inside ... like my Mom I love to put sentiments on the inside as well:

Wow! The orange is looking pretty bright in the photos ... it certainly stands out however I don't think it is that harsh in real life.

Doggies ... finally!

I just remembered that this blog is called "Doggies and more..." and thought that I might as well share a bit of the Doggies part. Dundee (my sweet but VERY busy puppy) has a thing for chewing on eyeglasses. He has destroyed 4 or so pairs of glasses (both mine and my Mother's) and most recently a brand new pair that I got to replace the pair he had ingested!

Here they are! I wasn't able to find any of the lenses however my Mom said that she almost stepped on pieces of them when she came over later that day to let Koda and Dundee out. It was supposed to be a secret that he had eaten another pair (and a very expensive pair too), but I had to stay late at work. For your viewing pleasure we also took a pic with them on me:

Why am I smiling? I don't know. Is that I have gone totally insane as well as broke from this nutcase I call my dog??? Here is a picture of him looking sweet and then another of him trying to quickly vacate the crafting table that he had just been investigating.
